For Broadway lovers and Disney fans, there’s no better experience than this  exclusive access tour. Created in collaboration with Disney Theatrical Group, this tour takes you behind the magic at the New Amsterdam Theatre; entering when the theatre is closed for a special guided tour.

You'll start under the bright lights of Broadway with a full walking tour, led by one of our theater-world insiders. Our guides have worked on Broadway as actors, directors and theater managers, so who better to show you around? As you stop off at iconic spots, like Sardi's restaurant and Shubert Theater, you'll hear classic stories of how stars like Barbra Streisand were made, as well as the not-so-glamorous reality of daily life for Broadway's workers and performers, who labor around the clock to keep this voracious entertainment machine running.

All of this is background for the star of the show: Your visit to the New Amsterdam Theatre. Spend a full hour with the in-house historian, learning about the history of this incredible building. You’ll have the place to yourself so you can visit the first floor and balcony levels, admiring the vast stage as your guide describes what goes into the creation and performance of a Broadway production like Beauty & The Beast, Mary Poppins, Aladdin and The Lion King. You’ll hear stories of the goings-on behind the scenes and learn about the superstitions held by Broadway performers — including a few ghost stories. As the cherry on top of your visit, you'll be able to try on costumes & props for past and present productions. Take pictures with from The Lion King, try on Mary Poppins' iconic coat and bag, and see other props that are part of Broadway history.
